History

History is the branch of knowledge that records and analyzes past events. The study of history is unique in its concern for the time factor in human development. Students of history gain a perspective that allows them to analyze the self and current events. Because the study of history utilizes a unique way of thinking, courses in history are designed to aid students interested in all other academic disciplines.

Dr. Todd Leahy joined the faculty of CEU in 2004. As an instructor, he strives to create an enjoyable yet rigorous learning environment. As a scholar, he is engaged in the discussion of historical events and brings ground-breaking research into the classroom. His special interests include American Indian/American West and Cultural History.
